The team representing the United Arab Emirates placed fourth at the Edith Cowan University’s Cup of Nations this Saturday. The team never lost a single match in regulation time during the tournament. It was unfortunate in penalty kicks twice though. Once in the semi-finals and again in the 3rd and 4th place match.

The team members were as follows:
Standing up from right to left: Simon, Asem, Mathew, Peter, and Nayef.
Sitting: Goal keeper Mohammed, Bader, Abdulla, and team captain Marwan.

The team’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) Nayef, won the tournament’s MVP award. We would like to thank all the players for their hard work and dedication. A special thanks to our team members from Ghana and also for our backup players AK and Richmond who didn’t get a chance to play but attended the tournament and supported the team.
