Wednesday (12th of September) should be 29th of Sha’aban which means that Thursday will be the 30th of Sha’aban for Australia and Firday will be the 1st of Ramadan inshallah.

Furthermore, the Crecent was not sighted in Australia as in the following sites:

On the other hand, I found this site that says that they prayed Tarawih on Wednesday at Bently Mosque and that they considered  Wednesday (12th of September) to be the 30th of Sha’aban in Australia and that they will fast on Thursday inshallah.
